The Last Will and Testament of William Sutcliffe

This is the last Will and Testament of me William Sutcliffe of Eastham Street Burnley in the Count of Lancaster made this thirteenth day of May in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and eighty I hereby revoke all wills by me at any time heretofore made. I appoint my wife Betty Sutcliffe to be my Executor and direct that all my just debts and funeral and testamentary expenses shall be paid as soon as conveniently may be after my decease I give and bequeath unto my dear wife Betty Sutcliffe all my real and personal estate whatever and wheresoever to hold unto her her heirs executors and administrators according to the respective natures and qualities of the said premises absolutely and for ever

Signed by the said William Sutcliffe the testator in the presence of us present at the same time who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.

Proved at Lancaster the fourteenth day of August 1880 by the oath of Betty Sutcliffe widow relict of the deceased the sole Executrise named in the Will to whom administration was granted.
The Testator William Sutcliffe was late of Eastham Street Burnley in the County of Lancaster Power Loom Weaver and died on the twenty seventh day of July 1880 at Eastham Street aforesaid.

On the Fourteenth day of August 1880 the Will of William Sutcliffe late of Eastham Street Burnley in the County of Lancaster powerloom weaver deceased, who died on the 27th day of July 1880 at Eastham Street aforesaid was proved in Her Majesty’s High Court of Justice in the District Registry attached to the Probate Division thereof at Lancaster by the Oath of Betty Sutcliffe of No.2 Eastham Street aforesaid Widow relict of the said deceased sole
